Nook
"In
the heart of beautifully
historic
Moose Jaw, just off Main Street, a Stitching Store. An intimate
space with a broad range of goods for knitters, crocheters, sewists
and needleworkers of all stripes with new items coming in
regularly. Bring your projects to work on
(be an artist in residence!) or find a new one at the store.
Classes will be offered in various
techniques - depending on what you are interested in we could be
working on anything from "Beginning Knitting" to complex stitchery
techniques...so let Stitcher's Nook know what you're interested in (by phone,
fax or email)...we love it all and will do our best to bring it to
you!
Stitcher’s Nook Mission:
To encourage and promote all needle arts; to honour the techniques
and work of prior generations of needle artists; to explore new
options in needle arts; to provide a friendly space to enjoy needle
arts; to inspire!
Whether you want to make a crocheted tablecloth like the one grandma
had or create an avante garde scarf out of non-traditional materials
- Stitcher’s Nook exists to help and encourage you.

- the name is about the customer…it’s a place for YOU - to indulge
your passion,
to create, take a class or hang out and stitch.
Products
Working with Canadian manufacturers and Canadian based distributors,
Stitcher's Nook goal is to shop "local" and to shop Canadian
whenever possible. So you will see everything from yarn products
from wool mills in the Maritimes (or closer) to sewing supplies from
distributors in B.C. or Ontario.
